Our Parrotdise is a small closed aviary located in Puyallup, WA. We specialize in breeding Amazons and several other varieties of hookbills and softbills.
We have been raising birds for 12 years, starting with a Quaker parrot named "Leo." A short time later we purchased our second larger parrot, a Double Yellow Headed Amazon from Pat and Al Hutson. They have been breeding parrots for 30 + years. We visited Pat and Al continually and asked for advice on this new baby parrot we named "Isha." After seeing the enjoyment of breeding parrots and the labor of love that goes into the process, we decided to give it a go for ourselves. We have become great friends with Pat and Al and they have been our mentors ever since.
We own as pets and breed: Finches, Doves, Lovebirds, Button Quails, Parrotlets, Quakers, Conures, Amazons, Black Headed Caiques, Senegals, African Grey Congos, and Umbrella Cockatoos.
We are active members in local bird clubs and the AFA.
